References to "we," "us," "our," or "Jungle Pixels" throughout this Privacy Policy refer solely to Venkata Palakodety as an individual.

2. Acceptance of These Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Shrinklet, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy in its entirety, including the Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability set forth below. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

4. File Processing — All Local

All file processing occurs entirely and exclusively on your Mac. Files you add to Shrinklet — including PDFs, images, videos, and audio files — are never uploaded to any server, transmitted to any third party, or retained by the developer in any form.

Compressed output files are written to the location you designate on your device. The developer has no access to your files at any point before, during, or after compression.

5. Supported File Types

Shrinklet processes the following file types:

• Common video files that macOS can read, including MP4, M4V, MOV, and many AVI files

Supported formats may vary based on what your version of macOS can decode. These files remain on your device at all times. They are not uploaded, transmitted, or shared with Jungle Pixels, Venkata Palakodety, or any third party.

6. Internet Access

Shrinklet does not require an internet connection to compress files and does not initiate any network requests during normal operation.

The app does not transmit your documents, images, videos, audio files, filenames, file sizes, compression results, or any metadata to any external server.

7. Analytics and Tracking

Shrinklet does not include third-party analytics SDKs, advertising networks, tracking tools, session recording, or behavioral profiling of any kind.

The developer does not track your usage, behavior, or activity within the app or across other apps or websites.

8. Apple App Store and Payments

Shrinklet is distributed through the Apple Mac App Store. If you download, purchase, or obtain a refund for Shrinklet, Apple Inc. processes that transaction pursuant to Apple's own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, which are independent of and not governed by this Privacy Policy.

The developer does not receive your payment information, credit card details, Apple ID, or any other personal data handled directly by Apple.

9. Crash Reports and Diagnostics

If you have enabled "Share analytics with app developers" in your macOS System Settings, Apple may provide the developer with anonymized crash reports and diagnostic information. These reports do not include the contents of your files.

15. Limitation of Liability

In any event, the total aggregate liability of Venkata Palakodety for any claim arising out of or relating to Shrinklet shall not exceed the amount you actually paid for the app through the Mac App Store (which may be zero for free downloads).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of liability for certain types of damages. In such jurisdictions, the above limitations apply to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Venkata Palakodety (operating as Jungle Pixels) from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of Shrinklet; (b) your violation of this Privacy Policy; or (c) your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party.

The official name of this application as published on the Apple Mac App Store is Shrinklet. The shortened name Shrinklet is used throughout this website and associated marketing materials solely as an informal abbreviation of that full name for readability and convenience.

References to "Shrinklet" on this website, in this Privacy Policy, and in any promotional material refer exclusively to Shrinklet as listed on the Mac App Store by Venkata Palakodety.

Shrinklet™, Shrinklet™, and Jungle Pixels™ are unregistered trade names used by Venkata Palakodety. No federal trademark registration exists for any of these names as of this policy’s effective date. Any rights in these names arise solely under applicable common law through use, not registration.

The developer makes no claim that the name "Shrinklet" or "Shrinklet" is unique, exclusive, or federally protected. If you believe these names conflict with an existing registered mark, please contact the developer at junglepixelsbiz@gmail.com before taking legal action.

18. Intellectual Property and AI-Assisted Development

Portions of Shrinklet were developed with the assistance of artificial intelligence (AI) tools, including large language models. Under current guidance from the United States Copyright Office, content generated autonomously by AI without sufficient human creative control may not be eligible for copyright protection.

Accordingly, Venkata Palakodety claims copyright only in the following human-authored elements of Shrinklet:

• The creative direction, product concept, feature decisions, and overall design vision;
• The selection, arrangement, curation, and integration of AI-generated outputs into a cohesive application;
• Any source code, logic, tests, or modifications written directly by Venkata Palakodety;
• The app’s user interface design, visual identity, iconography, and branding;
• The overall compilation of the application as an original creative work.

No copyright is claimed in purely AI-generated outputs to the extent such outputs are not protectable under applicable law. The developer does not represent that Shrinklet as a whole constitutes a fully human-authored work.

Notwithstanding the above, you may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse-engineer, sell, sublicense, or create derivative works from Shrinklet or any part of it — whether AI-generated or human-authored — without prior written permission from Venkata Palakodety, except as permitted by applicable law.

19. Third-Party Services

Shrinklet does not integrate with third-party services. However, your use of the app may be subject to the terms and privacy policies of Apple Inc. (Mac App Store distribution and purchases) and your macOS operating system. The developer is not responsible for the privacy practices of Apple or any other third party.

20. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

This Privacy Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the state of residence of Venkata Palakodety, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Informal resolution first. Before filing any legal claim, you agree to contact the developer at junglepixelsbiz@gmail.com and allow at least 30 calendar days for a good-faith attempt at informal resolution.

No class actions. All disputes must be resolved on an individual basis. You waive any right to participate in a class-action lawsuit, class-wide arbitration, or representative action against Venkata Palakodety or Jungle Pixels.
